Bermondsey Street

In November 2017 I moved jobs. My new office is now in London Bridge, specifically Bermondsey Street. Over the past few months, I have been exploring all the food/drink places along this quaint London Street. Here are my favourites spots…

B Street Deli

This is the perfect lunch spot for good quality food on the go. From coffees and cakes, to stunning ciabatta sandwiches, homemade quiches and wonderful salads, B Street Deli has all your favourite breakfast and lunch foods.

TIP: There is not a lot of room to sit down, so my advice is getting food to take-away.

Giddy Grocer

The Giddy Grocer is a fresh food mini grocery store. They place their emphasis on artisan British producers and sourcing locally. From fresh fruit, vegetables and meats, to delicious cheeses, bread, pastries and wine, this store is also great for delicious food on the go! I recently tried their delicious homemade soup, which they serve daily! The fresh ingredients are so refreshing and it comes with a decent slab of homemade bread.

Tanner & Co

I first came across Tanner & Co around this time last year when I went with a large group for bottomless brunch. With delicious food and cocktails and an outdoor drinks area, this place is one of my favourite spots for bottomless brunch. It also serves breakfast, lunch and dinner and is buzzing on a Friday night for drinks! I cannot wait to make full use of outside courtyard during the summer!

Comptoir Gourmond Boulangerie

This little French bakery is a pastry heaven! Baskets filled with pain au chocolats, danish pastries and cakes, this boulangerie offers fresh baguettes and loaves as well as delicious homemade sandwiches.
